Currency

3.1 Definition

"Credits" is the currency used in CM Fantasports..
This currency has no financial value and does not corrispond at all to real money.

3.2 Start contribution

When a team subscribes to a fantasport, it gets a contribution of 5000 credits in order to be able to buy its first athletes.

3.3 Use

The credits owned by each team can be used in any fantasport the club is subscribed to.
The credits are used to buy players and to pay their wage.

3.3 Bank

The Bank gives loans to all the teams that may ask for it.
The loan can be up to 5000 credits in each fantasport the club is subscribed to,while up to 3 loans can be active at the same time.
The interest rate is 15% per year and you can ask for a loan valid for 1 to 12 months.
The refund will be made with consecutive instaltments (french amortization).
The formula for the monthly instaltment is
capital / sum (t=1->n (1,0125)^-t)

3.4 Debts

In case the budget is below zero , the team will not be able to buy, renew or pay any credits until it is positive again.
Debts owed to the bank will be subtracted anyway.

Contracts

4.1 Wages and contracts

Signing a contract with an athlete means buying the contract and paying the wage.
The cost of the contract is none for all free agent players that have no offers by other teams,it is 1 credit more than the higher offer beated in case of free players that got an offer by other teams, while in case of players under contract with other teams, it must be agreed with the owner.
The cost of the wage is defined by the value of the player when the contract is signed. This value is based upon the results of the athlete during the competitions of the last year and it is constantly updated in the ratings of each fantasport.

4.2 Buying

In order to buy free or optioned players you have to make an offer through the right pages (check 4.9).
In order to buy players owned by other teams you have to contact the presidents of the teams and pssibly reach an agreement.

4.3 Duration

The contract is owned by a team until it is sold or cut.
The wage is paid once a year.Within 30 days before the expiry of the contract the owner has the right to renew it by paying the updated cost of the wage; in this case the contract date remains the same.
If not renewed the contracts expire and the athletes are set free; the contracts expired within the end of the season and the start of the next one are frozen until the reopening.

4.4 Selling and breaking

Breaking a contract means losing all rights over it. The broken contracts are immediately deleted from the team's roster, but will be enlisted among free agent players only after midnight.
Selling a player means giving the contract to another team in the same division. The previous contract is broken and a new one is signed with the new team.
The transfer market is open all year for each fantasport, but no deal can be completed in the last third of the season.

4.5 Forced breaking

When, for fantasports based upon a single country league, an athlete goes abroad or in minor leagues the owner is proportionally refunded of the wage and the contract is freely converted into an option havng the same expiry date as the previous contract.
In the same way, a refund is given whenever a contract is cut after a promotion (see 6.5).

4.6 Salary cap

In each fantasport the sum of the value of all athletes must be lower than 7000 credits.
If the sum exceeds the salary cap the team cannot buy players, or exchange them with players of a higher value; this means that only operations that lower the value of the team are allowed, such as selling, cutting and exchanging with players of a lower value.
Within the first competition of the season all teams must respect the salary cap; in case they don't, one or more contracts will be broken, in order of expiry, until the cap is respected.

4.7 Options

You can buy options on athletes: an option costs 20% of the value and gives the priority to buy a player; as soon as another team makes an offer on the athlete, this right must be exercised within the next auction. This limit can be lowered only if the president has setup one of his 4 weeks of holidays.
The option which, as in normal contracts, lasts a year, can be sold to other teams, but it is not counted in the amount of the maximum number of athletes and in the salary cap.
The credits spent on the option are a fondo perduto, which means that they are not subtracted from the cost of the athlete.

4.8 Parking

You can temporarily park your contracts, in order to make an offer on one or more athletes without breaking the contracts before knowing the result of the auction.
The parked athletes cannot be lined up and are not counted in the salary cap and in the number of athletes of the team.
They may be put on the injury list though, sold or loaned to other teams but they cannot receive offers from other teams.
The parked athletes can be restored for free at any time if the bounds of the number of athletes and salary cap are respected.
A team that, on wednesday at midnight, is in the state "Not Blocked" and has athletes parked in a fantasport, enters the state "Blocked" in that sport.
A blocked team cannot make new offers or deals, nor restore options or park athletes.
In order to exit the "Blocked" state the team can, at any time, get rid of the parked contracts (breaking, selling, loaning, putting them on the injury list or restoring them).
A team that, on wednesday at midnight is in the Blocked state will have all the parked contracts broken and will be put back in the state "Not Blocked".

4.9 Injury list

You can insert in that list a number of athletes equal to 10% of the roster (rounded up), for a period corresponding to half season, getting the refund of the wage during the suspension.
During that period, though, the athlete cannot be lined up in any competition and cannot be restored before the expiration of the injury time. What is more, the contract cannot be broken while the athlete is on the injury list.
Any athlete can be inserted on the injury list, it does not matter if or how injured he really is. If the athlete, though, should get points, he will be immediately removed from the ijury list and converted into an option.
On the contrary, when leaving the injury list at the right time, , the athlete will be parked and may be immediately restored into the team.

4.10 Loans

Teams can loan atlhetes to each other; the length of the loan cannot be lower than 1/3 of the season and no loan can be set in the last third of the regular season (excluding playoffs/playouts).
The athletes on loan are still owned by their original team, but count in the number of athletes and salary cap of the receiving team.
When the loan is over the athletes will be parked and, may be immediately restored into the team.

4.11 Auctions

Every Wednesday at midnight, there is an auction with all the offers.
In case of single offers, the cost of the contract will be 0. In case of multple offers the athlete will be assigned to the team that made the best offer and the contract will be paid 1 credit more than the highest beating offer.
In case of equal offers, the one offer made first wins.
The offers for buying an athlete are always winning over offers for options.

4.12 New athlete requests

Athletes not included in the database may be requested by presidents. All the athletes requested within Tuesday will be available for the Wednesday auction.
No athletes can be requested, inserted or suspended on Wednesday.

Competition

5.1 Calendars

The calendars are published as soon as they are available. All the presidents must check them on the site.
For each fantasport only the competitions listed on the calendar published on the site will be played.

5.2 Lineups

The lineup must be set within 24:00 CET of the day before the competition; It is possible to set up the lineups for all the following competitions in the season at any time.
A single lineup is set for each competition. What is meant by "competition" is the single row shown in the calendar of the fantasport: it may last a single day, like football matches, or a week or more, like tennis tournaments and cycling races. In any case the lineup is valid for the whole competition and cannot be changed after it starts.
Each athlete may be in different lineups, even if the competitions are overlapping.

5.3 Substitutions

In the rules of each fantasport it is specified if and how changes can be made.
If not shown differently, the substitutions are made by role, which means that each athlete is substituted by the first reserve that plays in the same role.

5.4 Prizes

At the end of each competitions credits are assigned, according to the specific tables in the rules of each fantasport.
The amount of credits earned corresponds to a same amount of points which are counted for the rankings.
In the general rankings all the points of each fantasport are summed up, proportioned to the level of the division where the teams play (for the divisions B the points are divided by 2, for the C divisions by 4, etcetera).

End of the season

6.1 End

Each season ends with the last competition of the season and that is the limit for the final ranking.
The general rankings count the points earned in the calendar year.
All the athletEs on loan or on the injury list are automatically restored into the team.

6.2 Subscription renewal

Each team gets a renewal request at the end of each season.
If a team does not renew its subscription within 30 days, all contracts are broken and the players are free again.
For each fantasport where the subscription is not renewed the team loses the 5000 credits received as subscription contribution.

6.3 Promotions and relegations

The structure of the divisions is piramidal (this means there are 1 Series A, 2 Series B, 4 Serie C...). Each division with the same letter (B, C...) is on the same level.
The number of relegations is normally 1/5 (rounded up) of all the teams subscribed to the league; the number of promotions is obviously equal to the number of relegations in the upper league.
The number of teams promoted and relegated in each division may change in case of incomplete divisions; the places will be proportioned to the number of teams subscribed in each division at half season. At the start of a season anyway a limit is set at 2/3 of the teams subscribed, which guarantees that, whatever happens later, the teams within the limit are not relegated anyway.

6.4 Building divisions

After promotions and relegations, in case a division is incomplete because of withdrawal, the best ranked teams of lower divisions are called up.

6.5 Multiple Contracts

While promoting and relegationg, the multiple contracts are solved. All the contracts belonging to teams from lower divisions are broken if the athletes were under contract with teams of the upper division, including the ones of teams moved to other divisions or withdrawn.

6.6 Block period and changes

Between the end of a season and the start of the following one the leagues are blocked for about 30 days.
During this period the subscriptions are closed and the costs and roles of the athletes may be modified; The roles are based upon the ones on the official sites, but can be modified by a pool of experts appointed by the federal council for each fantasport; during the season roles may be added to some athletes, while roles can be deleted only during the blocked period.

6.7 Start of next season

If a team does not respect the minimum requirements within the start of the league, it is striken off the league.

Decisions

7.1 Control power

The control power is up to the Federal Council, made of 5 members: a regular one (the webmaster Claudio Mantelli), and another 4 members elected every year by the users that have been registered for at least 1 year and have subscribed at least to 1/4 of fantasport with or without a calendar.
In case of withdrawal or absence from the council for over 3 meetings, the missing members will be substituted by the candidate with the sixth larger number of votes according to the voting.

7.1 Controversies

controversies about the points of an athlete, lineups or anything else must be communicated to the email address shown in each fantasport, within 1 week since the competition was updated. From then on, every result, even a wrong one, is definitely acquired. Controversies about lineups must be sent BEFORE the start of a competition.
The Federal Council and the webmaster have the final decision on every aspect of the rules or on any controversy.
